Free Health Screenings

2/14/21

Beginning Tuesday, March 2, 2021, Panhandle Health will be offering free health screenings (BP, fasting glucose, hemoglobin A1c, BMI and a complete lipid panel) to our patients with the intention of identifying persons with excessive risk for diabetes, stroke and heart disease. These screenings will occur on the first Tuesday of every month during clinic hours beginning at 5:30 pm. Screenings take approximately 30 minutes and are at no cost to the patient. Patients identified with health screening concerns will be referred to the BPiCC clinic staff when the persons identified have no access to an existing health care/primary care provider in the community or have no resources to be able to follow through with a visit to the previously established Primary Care Provider.

As of February 11, 2021, patients are now being seen in the clinic. Patients may come to the clinic beginning at 5:30 pm. Masks are to be worn while in the clinic. Patients will be required to answer health questions and have a temperature check prior to entering the building. Patients WILL NOT be seen with fever, cough, sore throat or suspected/known exposure to Covid-19. Please call the clinic with any questions at 208-255-9099.

10/1/2020

**BPICC will start seeing patients in clinic on Thursday October 8th.

We will be continuing to schedule patients for appointments to see the doctor the same as we have been doing for the telephonic appointments. Please call (208)255-9099 and leave your information (name, number, reason you want to be seen, DOB) and someone will call you back with your appointment time prior to the next scheduled clinic date. **Please DO NOT just show up at the door for line up as it was before, you may not be able to see a doctor.

**You will be required to answer health questions and have your temperature checked prior to entering the building.

**We WILL NOT be able to see you if you have a fever, cough, sore throat, suspect you may have or have been exposed to COVID-19.

**Everyone will be required to wear a mask while in the clinic. Masks will be available.

For questions please call 208-255-9099

Due to the increase in COVID-19 cases within our community we are continuing to conduct clinic via telephone only.

We will continue to have our clinic night rotation where a volunteer doctor will be on call to speak to patients via telephone.  We want to best serve our patients while keeping everyone in our community safe and healthy.

We will continue with the new procedure of patients calling the clinic phone at (208)255-9099 and leaving their information in a message or with Amy to then relay to the volunteer doctor on call. We will try to take care of prescription refills as we get them but issues needing a doctor to speak with the patient will be restricted to the scheduled clinic rotation nights.

We will continue to monitor the community COVID-19 situation and promise to be back in clinic as soon as it is safe for everyone.

After much consideration Bonner Partners in Care Clinic has decided for the safety of our patients and volunteers, we will be closing the clinic to seeing patients face to face during this COVID-19 crisis. This will be effective immediately. We will continue to have our clinic night rotation where a volunteer doctor will be on call to speak to patients via telephone.  We want to best serve our patients while keeping everyone in our community safe and healthy.

Our new procedure will be for patients to call the clinic phone at (208)255-9099 and leave their information in a message or with Amy to then relay to the volunteer doctor on call. We will try to take care of prescription refills as we get them but issues needing a doctor to speak with the patient will be restricted to the scheduled clinic rotation nights.

We hope with all our hearts that this will be very temporary and that we will be back soon. We encourage everyone to follow the guidelines being set by the CDC and local health departments so we can all stay healthy and get back to enjoying our normal everyday lives.

Scheduled clinic nights for telephone appointments only will be:

Tuesday March 24th

Thursday April 2nd

Tuesday April 7th

Thursday April 16th

Thursday April 23rd

Tuesday April 28th
